I haven't been posting lately due to irl things and I'm operating on extremely limited free time where I'm usually exhausted but I'm gonna take the time to post this and more because I am really happy with how this turned out.

When Connor first met Mari, she was passed out on the corner of the street. With it being a college town and Mari being a pretty unconscious girl, he knew that someone would take advantage of her if they hadn't already. So he picked her up and took her back to his dorm room at the university. Mari woke up in shock and horror of where she was and what had happened. When she saw Connor come into the room she immediately assumed the worst, grabbed her shoes and sprinted off campus back to her home.
1 hour of sobbing and having her first conversation with the spirit within the mask she received last night, Mari finally managed to calm down a bit. Much to her surprise, Connor found out where her home/hair salon and attempted to confront her about what happened, Mari acted hysterically trying to keep him at bay while he claimed that he didn't sleep with her or do anything else scummy like that. One pregnancy test and a few online tests to see if she had lost her virginity later, Mari discovered that Connor was telling the truth. The next day she returned to the university to find him and apologize for her overreaction.
The day after that Mari went to her favorite café to try to return to her normal routine when she saw Connor again. Mari tried to look away still being embarrassed by the situation but Connor pulled out some flowers saying that he wanted to make up for the whole ordeal by offering her a date. Mari wanted to say no but she had never had a boy express this much interest in her before. Plus, his good looks and sweet character were too tempting to pass up. Reluctantly Mari said yes.

This is how their relationship began. Can't wait to show more of how it unfolds in the future.
