Description
The local aquarium was closing down for the night. Everyone was out, save one girl who fell asleep in a corner. This blonde girl, Bry, woke up in almost darkness and tried to leave, but the doors were locked. Nervous, she walked around looking at the local fishes that was displayed here. With no security staff or cameras off, Bry was free to do whatever she wants. The tanks provided the only light in this otherwise dark side of the building. As she walked, Bry noticed a door leading to a place reserved for important people to watch. Curiosity got the better of her and she walked inside. There she found creatures unlike anything that she ever saw before in her life. Some big, some small, some cute and some ugly. Bry was amazed by all this.

What she didn't know was that she wasn't the only sentient creature in this room.

In one of the tanks, laid a Tideborn. Tideborns were shark-like mer-people who were once thought of as extinct. This one, named Neptune, was sleeping in the vegetation when his finny ears picked up the footsteps of someone in the room. At first he thought it was one of the staff, but second look told him that it wasn't anyone he was familiar with. It was a beautiful woman with long, blonde hair in a pony-tail with little clothing to wear on her. His crimson eyes followed her as she was looking at his neighboring creatures. Wanting to see her, Neptune tapped on the glass to get her attention.

Bry then heard a tap, and then looked around to find the source. Her eyes soon came in contact with a set of crimson eyes, with a human-like face attached to it. She went closer and realized that this wasn't a man, but what seemed to be a merman, but unlike any she would have seen in fairy tales. The creature then put his hand on the glass, showing her a set of blue scales that cover the palm. Curious, Bry then did the same, only an inch of glass keeping their hands from actually touching each other.

Now that the woman was closer, Neptune was captivated even more from the site of such a human. He was used to seeing the staff feeding him, having him do tricks for many so this woman was a fresh change for him. He then motioned her to a set of stairs heading to the top of the tank and swam over to it, hoping to get a better look without the glare from the glass.

Following his motion, Bry went to the top of the stairs and was close enough to actually touch him. She too was at awe with this handsome creature that was kept in a cage like some common animal. They both started talking, small at first but then it seemed like they knew each other all their lives.

Neptune then noticed that she had so little to wear climbed up so that his tail was still in the water and then held her in his embrace. Despite being cold-blooded and wet, Neptune was surprisingly warm as he didn't want the cold to damage such a jewel of a human like her. He then suggested a better way of keeping her warm, not to mention having a full belly in the process. His people are capable of swallowing food whole instead of tearing them into bite-sized pieces. Their skin is well accustomed to having large, moving food inside them. They are also capable of keeping those they care for safe in their belly.

Before she knew it, Bry was in Neptune's arms. She was surprised to feel so warm with him being cold-blooded and rested her head on his chest, hearing his heartbeat. When Neptune suggested being inside his belly, Bry was naturally nervous at the thought of being live food. But the Tideborn assured her that she would be safe, she would be able to breath and not be digested. Gulping hard, Bry agreed to his terms and prepared herself.

Neptune assured the girl that she would be alright as he went back into the water. He held Bry's feet with his clawed hands, his tongue snaking its way to the sole of her feet and taste it, tickling her in the process before unhinging his jaw and taking them in. He was mindful of his sharp teeth as to not harm her. As he swallowed her little by little, he loved the taste of her, using his tongue to undo her clothes got get more of her taste. Her form was almost visible through the skin as he took in more of this lovely lady. Her breasts weren't a problem as Neptune thought it would be as his tongue moved around them, tasting them as they entered his mouth. Neptune then caressed Bry's cheek affectionately to soothe her as their lips met in a kiss, sort of. The girl closed her eyes as Neptune swam back, swallowing three more times before closing his mouth completely, except for his long tongue moving across his lips getting the last taste of this rare human dish.

As the process went on, my heart raced in love and in fear. My life was now in Neptune's hands as more of me was inside him, able to see my through the flesh. As I felt his hand caressing me, I wanted to place my hand on his but was tied up by the throat muscles so just smiled. Bry then closed her eyes as her head entered his mouth and slid down at what seemed to be an everlasting throat ride. Curling up in Neptune's stomach, see could almost see the walls closing around her to comfort her.

Neptune assured Bry that she would be safe for the night, but felt silly about explaining his 'weight gain' to the staff. He shrugged before swimming to the bottom, laying on his side on the vegetation and curling himself in a semi-circle as if to protect his new precious cargo from the world. With a new lover and a full stomach, Neptune then fell asleep in the seaweed smiling.
