I believe you.  And it's funny and kind of haunting.  You would think that somehow, somewhere, would figure this out, though.  I'm assuming a lot of these machines pay digitally now, so there's not a coin guy coming around to notice the lack of money.  But I can't help but imagine some big monitoring room like the type in Jurassic World where the company's vending machines pop up on the map, and they watch the profit margins in real time.  And see the big zero on that one.  Maybe I'm overestimating the vending machine people.

At the very least, the restocking guy is a dumb-ass for never noticing the complete and utter lack of bought items.  But if you're a restocking guy, maybe you'd just say, "Not my problem."

In short, yeah.  The more I think about this, the more I believe it.
