The sad thing is that Islam is a religion of peace, but many people see Muslims as terrorists and horrible people and it makes me sad because Muslims are good people.

Inshallah, the world will one day be able to separate the billions of Muslims from the few horrible terrorists, just as the world can separate Christian terrorists from Christians.
On World Hijab Day this February 1st, there will be tens of thousands of non-Muslims standing with Muslim women in hijab in support. The world often attacks hijab and brands it as a symbol of oppression, just as it brands Islam as a religion of terrorism. If you want to help fight the idea that Islam is a religion of bad things, perhaps you could join them that day. Peace be upon you.Β

No problem! If you decide to participate, there are many websites with cheap hijabs (like HijabGirl.com), and tutorials online for how to wear them/make your own out of scarves if you don't want to buy one. World Hijab Day has a Facebook page if you need more information.
