I had to made some selfies for my mum after she heard that I became Muslim also via laptop and no Photoshop etc. It's helpful use all light lamps for such things.
Are you using under-caps or do you have super long scarf? Looks nice

I bought a scarf and an underscarf from hijabgirl.com. I'm still getting used to pinning my hijab, and I don't trust myself not to repeatedly stick myself in the scalp without an underscarf yet.

I loved hijabgirl 2 years ago, but then they closed branch in UK and doubled prices
I using undercaps to make sure that all hairs will be hidden too and with it is much easier and quicker + it giving you chance for extra colour on your head
Beside it's also extra heat in winter time.
For no undercap style I need 2 m long scarf which is not easy to get. I missing on standard size like 20 cm extra.
Mums my hate everything what looks like "Islamic"
...because that bloody media and ISIS. Seriously no one good word in TV or newspapers in my country

I'm having a lot of trouble pinning my hijabs. The pins keep falling out and getting lost. I'm afraid somebody will step on them with bare feet. Got any tips on how to make them stay?

HG had in past time two places for shipping from UK and USA.
Anyway my current favourite page is shop with pins and hijabs Abbayas on this site are for girls up to 14 UK shirt size at least 54" -56" high.
Try safety pins? IDK I using just tailoring pins with metallic heads > in for short distance out and in (I'll take photo if you don't get me)
Also this video helped me so much when I started wearing scarfs and I have different styles of hijabs from above link.

Tell me about love. Originally from Czechoslovakia where young now have no nice words for Russians and believe that was Americans who ended WWII. And then we were unjustly occupied by Russia, but they won't see that before 1990 (leaving communism-socialism and start following capitalism) we had much less problems than we have now. To hide this problem our politicians using Muslims and Syrian refugee as reason for all in-country problems.
