Description I was redrawing my old OCs yesterday because I was too lazy to think about something new to animate and tadaah, the eight sketch was that girl named Zoe who came out too pretty to not color her! She actually had kind of red hair but now I think she would look too much like Hanji from SnK like that so I changed it to this dark blond or whatever you call it xD
And I'll say it again, I love gradient map <3

Wow~! Your coloring sense is impeccable. You can tell where the light source is coming from, and the shadows correspond to it too. Lighting is so difficult for me, I have much to learn.

Thank you! I already stopped liking this picture to be honest x'D But I can tell you for sure that I started painting shadows in black and white and then I used PS tool named gradient map (I don't use PS in english but I guess that's the right name) to change black to violet (probably violet) and white to yellow. It's much easier that way, at least for me, maybe you could try it! :3

Interesting. I'll have to give it a shot then. I don't use Photoshop, but maybe I have something that can pull it off.

dang naho, this is really awesome! Im really impressed with the nice shading and colors you used! As well as the character herself, her face is so unique i love it ^-^

Thank you <3 I think I finally found my own way for shading, it was always big problem for me. I'm not satisfied with her eyes but it still looks good and I can't belive that I draw this xD
