Thank you. This was taken almost 7 years ago.. Times sure flies!
Not much has happened since then though. Due to limited space and my hobby focus shifting more to games, I have to be a bit more selective in what manga I acquire. Still keeping the count around 500 though, which ain't the worst

oh boy, has it been 5 years since I uploaded this?!!? Uwaah.. Time, slow down T_T While I have gotten more since then, I'm afraid I had to clean up a few of them as I grew older and needed room for other stuff (mainly selling the ones I'll never read again)

I started collecting manga in 2005, so slowly but steady. Japanese manga are also rather cheap when bought used. I often pay 50-100 yen per vol. when I go to Japan and buy second hand manga from the stores. Book Off even lets you sit down and read the goods before buying them (pretty unreal, eh? At least in Denmark, it's considered stealing if you read a book, comic or magazine in any store without purchasing it)

In Oklahoma it's not lol. But there isn't a lot of manga here so it's hard to get in a store.

Hey at least the US release a crapton of manga and anime. Denmark discontinued manga publishing a few years back, and the only anime we get here are Ghibli movies If you don't have a book store nearby, you can go to amazon and buy a few used manga for half a dollar each. Shipping seem to be fairly cheap as long as you live in the US. Or check out a few auctions sites. Got a feeling lots of people are selling whole series for next to no money. You can get some sweet deals that way! (Bought a lot of my Danish manga through auctions. Saved me a few thousand DKK)

haha thank you. Hopefully I can get another bookshelf before moving to Japan for my study period, so I can take a new picture of the collection. It's almost 3 years ago I took this one after all! (I currently only have 1 bookshelf, so I have 3 moving boxes full of manga just lying in my room... Taking up space.. Looking boring and ugly T_T)

De danske boghandleren sælger stadig hvad de nu har tilbage af Carlsen's tideligere udgivet mangaer. desværre til den "nye" pris af 70 DKK. Har ikke købt dansk manga fra ny af siden prisen gik fra 50 og op til 60 DKK, hvilket efterhånden er et par år siden. Hvis du vil have internationale titler (hvor mange af de store mainstream titler såsom Naruto, bleach og one piece koster ca. 64 DKK per manga) skal du til København og kigge rundt i Faraos (De har også en butik i lyngby) og Fantask. Du kan finde deres hjemmesider på google.

Alle mine japanske er købt brugte via Yahoo auctions japan, men det kan være en støre process du selv må undersøge hvis du har planer om at bestille derfra

No worries! It'll come! I barely collect mangas anymore since I'm using my hard earned money on going to conventions all around Europe. (got 13 conventions this year, only 3 being in Denmark where I live. Just got home from a convention a few hours ago and I'm going to Holland next weekend for another one)
I'm also waiting for a limited edition Portal Gun for my Chell Cosplay. It will be my first cosplay ever, even though I've been attending conventions for 7 years So do not despair! It takes time for some people, but as long as you really like it and want it, it will eventually come to you :3

why thank you! Tbh it's growing rather slowly at the moment due to me attending a ton of conventions in other countries. Have to prioritize my money for that. Hope that your collection will get even bigger some day!
