random scribble I did a few weeks ago--Do I have a noticeable style? Do you guys recognise my artwork when I upload??
I feel like I don't really... I think I had a style about a year ago, I have no idea what happened...
If you look in my gallery right now it like ??? r u sure 1 person owns this accouNT?
idk, if you notice my artwork before knowing I made it please comment how ??

I do see soft facial features in your work, and you have a distinct anatomical style, I say you could still work on making it pop though! Like trying different lineart, shapes, colors (You use very soft colors, so maybe try brighter/more saturated colors?)

with your old art, it looks nothing like you current. The way I tell how the specific style if your style, is by looking at the facial features. They have this similarity that I cannot describe loolllΒ

I can't even recognize purple from blue sometimes.
I personally am terrible at identifying styles because I've seen way too many, but regardless of whether or not you have a recognizable style isn't really a bad thing. The fact that you are able to be that flexible is something to be proud of. You're not chained to one thing. There are some people, myself included, who might feel chained to their style (essentially trying to change, tweak, or improve it, but ending up in the same place. You hopefully won't have to worry about that because you're very capable of changing things up. c:

I don't think it's a horrible thing, I mean, I do wish that I could stick to one style and then improve on it, but drawing the way I am right now is fine for now. Β It's just sometimes I check my notifications and see uploads from the people I watch and there are a lot where I can just look at the deviation and know exactly which artist drew it and I wonder if my watchers can do the same thing with my artwork? But probably not :')

I feel the same way, both wanting to stick to a style and immediately recognizing others' art.
What I'd recommend is to take bits and pieces for the styles of those you admire and sort of...amalgamate them into whatever you like. For example, taking a nose style from one artist and a lip style from another, or even taking something like two different eye styles and combining them. That's just my advice, but eh, what do I know?Β
