so the past few years ive really been tempted to make my fictional race have a lot of influence from russian culture since thats what im part of and i thought it would be really cool to draw all the clothes, dishes, art, etc from it, though i may mix up some ukraine and other slavic stuff since im not entirely knowledgeable about everything. In the end, they probably will only have russian influence in their final designs rather than being clearly russian.im kind of just drawing whatever looks the best haha
did you know that the russian word for beautiful has the root word "red" in it? take a guess why !
the ocs are Hideaki Kaede and Chiyoe (not russian names i know but i made them like 6 years ago haha). Hideaki is a King and Kaede is his brother, but i wanted to draw the common tunic on Hideaki since he looks best in it. Kaede always been the more fancy one lol
Chiyoe there for the female representation //smacked. while thats true, she fits in this picture because they're all childhood friends
I hope to do this for my other fictional races too so i finally have a clear idea of what everyone is for my comic!
