Do you guys like summer? Or is the season too hot where you live? I like summer the most with fall being a close second.DesignByHumans is having a contest and this is my submission. I love summer and its heat ( and if it's too hot, I practice relaxation to bear with it). Actually, I think I'm like a plant : I'm at my best under the summer blue sky, sleepy during winter, and a real mess during rainy grey days. When it rains, I find shelter in the basement where I paint miniatures to avoid looking outside.

Spring and Summer are the seasons I like best. New life, all is bright and warm, the fresh air, flowing through the house, riding without a heavy jacket.

Where I live currently it's also too hot, even for me (I'm looking forward to moving lol). In a more temperate climate it's absolutely my favorite season

Same here. Winter is okay if I'm indoors but it's hard to go outside in the rain (it doesn't snow where I am) and sometimes it floods. Also even if I visit the snow, it's SO blinding to my eyes, and it's all cold/wet and uncomfortable. Also dangerous! >_< bah

I wouldn't be either, it's so treacherous and cold outside. You can slip and seriously injure yourself just walking onto ice, you can get snowed in, you have to shovel your driveway, once again everything is too bright outside, ugh! I'll take the tropics any day as long as I have access to water (but not too much cause of flooding >_>)

I'm from KY the crazy weather state, where our winters can be 90 degrees, and our summers can be below freezing, one day at a time of-course, the occasional mid summer snow is pretty nice sometimes. And those wintry ovens? No better time to play in the snow than when its 80 or 90 degrees outside! I almost feel sorry for our weather forecasters though to be honest.

Not all the time, just occasionally We will only have a few days a year like that, but it can literally be 90 degrees one day and snowing the next. It's actually kinda fun 
Something to do with the mountains pushing up warm air in the winter or pushing down cold air in the summer causes really freaky weather, or something like that lol.

Ohh that makes sense. in California we have something called the Santa Ana winds. In So Cal, insanely dry winds from the Mojave Desert will sweep over to the coast, making the humidity like 15-20% at a beach lol.

As far as humidity goes, one of my favorite things about KY is in the summer the water will absorb the heat on hot days, and when we get a cool morning it will form "Pockets" in the low laying valleys which will have entire valleys completely engulfed in fog so thick that you can't see more than three feet away. But looking down onto one of these valleys it looks like a bubble cloud. I'd have to say my favorite though, is being on the lake when that happens because the cold air mixing with the warm air will form whirl winds that pick up the fog and look like small tornadoes rolling across the water surface. Caught a fish at just the right moment once and it jumped right up through the center of one it was absolutely amazing!

That sounds awesome! I know that fog can be dangerous but I find it beautiful (as long as I'm not driving LOL). San Fransisco is known for its fog and the first time I saw it I just felt so peaceful, despite being in a busy city.

Yeah I try to keep things varied so I don't get too comfortable. It's hard to single out one thing but I would say that consistently, I like drawing characters over like backgrounds and stuff ^..^

Lol city scapes are pretty cool actually, depending on how they're used you could set up any number or scenes, they can be obvious or completely oblivious. But what do you like about them?

never been much of a beach-man myself honestly, but it was pretty nice a few years back when i last went to a beach, dunno how it is now since we're going through a rather...complicated economic, enviromental and tyranical moment (greetings from Venezuela, we're still alive and fighting the Cuban Comunist Hivemind somehow!

Haha summer is best for me when I'm in a more temperate environment. If it's too hot and dry I shrivel up.
Winter is okay where I live but it's too cold for me (anything under 60F/15C, forget it LOL >_>)
