Description
I sketched this back when a certain article came out about how bad the pollution was getting in Beijing; a guy collected the smog with a vacuum and made a literal brick out of thin air o_oI've come to realize with environmentalism, that we humans can be divisive about the issue of using nature for our benefit. My humble opinion is that every living thing is born into an agreement: we borrow a bit of our generous world to live, and in return, we are all expected to give back.
The problem arises when we don't.

The art is beautiful, but the reality is heartbreaking....
Your society is at a tipping point. If you all continue to destroy this planet, you'll eventually end up destroying yourselves. But if you change our ways, and soon, Earth has a chance. Either way, I'm leaving this miserable planet.

Thanks! I totally agree; doing better for the planet is actually much easier than it sounds. I know we can change little things in our everyday lives to help the earth without making many compromises: drive less/carpool more, eat a little less meat/source it from small farms, buy organic, use reusable bags for shopping, recycle, lots of stuff! ^_^

I do believe we should respect nature, however I would slightly disagree and say that nature was made for humanity. Therefore, humanity is to be resourceful with what is around him, and not to be subject to the nature he was born into. I understand that pollution is a real thing especially in industrial nations, but I don't think its a big of an issue as the world thinks. I LOVE this picture btw, I love the color contrast and just the overall art style itself!

This is really pretty! It's too bad no one cares about how bad things are unless they live in China, don't they realize that that's gonna happen next to other countries? Things like clean air and water should be easily available to everyone no matter what.

I know that here in the US, some politicians want to lift restrictions on corporations because they believe that the best way to compete with China, is to stoop to their level. By allowing corporations to pollute and treat their workers like dirt.
Countries can't copy China though, I would rather that we treat nature and people with respect, even if it costs more ^..^ we will be more happy and profitable in the long run!
