I always hoped that Joan of Arc would end up dating JFK instead of Abe if there had been a season 2. I feel like his heart to heart with her in the series finale was genuine, and he wasn't just telling her whatever she needed to hear to get her in the sack. But genuine or no, it was sweeter than any interaction between Joan and Abe...who's almost willful ignorance to Joan's feelings (not just towards him but feelings in general) really started to grate on me by the show's end. And I seriously don't buy that he's actually in love with her as soon as she starts changing everything about herself just to get him to notice her. I honestly think Joan's obsession with Abe was really more about her own lack of self confidence and faith that she could do better than Abe, and Abe and Cleo kind of deserve each other. And JFK always showed a lot of interest in Joan, and after Ponce's death I like to believe he'd open up more to err uh...FEELINGS!

So I twisted one of their first interactions in the whole show for shipping purposes hahaha! Idk I like to fantasize about how season 2 would've gone down and if they were dating and alluded back to this moment in a cute couple-y way I'd just die.
