You know the feeling, when you look at some painting, and you just wish you live there or that person on painting is someone you know in real... That bittersweet feeling that we hate and love at same time... I always FEEL this kind of feelings when i look at your art. And art is all about feeling or it should be... Indeed, I get that hiatus many times! It's a time that I cannot even force myself to do artwork. So I allow the time to pass on by
and then suddenly the mood hits me to pick up the pencil. I haven't done an oil painting since a year ago! The watercolors haven't been
done at all since...I think last early Summer. Wow...time flies. I think our artwork reflects upon our moods, due to colors and subjects.
The face of your portrait you drew is very beautiful and there is nothing wrong in drawing a sad expression.....it seems to me that society is based upon happy people and things and yet many people are struggling with depression and sadness. Pardon me for the lengthy comment....
