I am dedicating this comic "Betrothed" to the memory of ~Simbamarasa , the artist who inspired me to draw, and taught me how to draw, TLK comics. She will be dearly missed.

I guess you're right, he is all she has left of him. I'm surprised when you had your behind the scenes contest, no one did that. But, maybe it was too early in the comic. Were there any other different endings (or other parts of the comic) when you were going to do a different scene or concept in the original script, but was changed to where it is now?

Actually, no. This was always the ending I had in mind. Rehema's reappearance was added to my scripted ending after I sketched out page 80-something. But the gist of the end that I decided upon was always what I had in mind.
My behind the scenes contest, FYI, was done before page 70-ish was posted, I think. So it was still pretty early.
