I am dedicating this comic "Betrothed" to the memory of =Simbamarasa , the artist who inspired me to draw, and taught me how to draw, TLK comics. She will be dearly missed.

I've never read a comic where Ahadi is Mohatu's son. This is already an interesting comic and I'm only five pages in.

I am enjoying it so far. I really like your theory. I've never seen these type of ideas on other Lion King fan comics. I also like your art. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler.

0.0 This is so attention capturing!!! I've never heard anything like this in Lion King fan stuff...In fact I've really paid any attention to Lion King fan stories, just mainly art. I do know the basics of the most popular Lion King fan stories, about Ahadi and Uru being Mufasa's and Taka's parents, that kind of stuff, but never anything deeper than that...This is my first Lion King fan story, and I'm sure to like it.

I wouldn't necessarily call that version of the story the "original" one. It isn't canon at all, but it is the most COMMON version of the story.

I pronounce it "OO-roo" which is the Swahili pronounciation. But it can be pronounced "YOU-roo", too.

I don't really like it either. I don't let it ruin the story for me though. Whenever I get around to writing my TLK fanfiction, Ahadi will be Mohatu's son.

I'm the same. I prefer to think of Ahadhi as Mohatu's son, mostly because he's a 'King' and if Uru was the heir to the throne Ahadhi couldn't be 'King' only 'Prince Consort' next to her.

Maybe so, but maybe not. I prefer to think of him as Mohatu's son because the official illustration depicts Ahadi very similar to Mohatu (and Mufasa). Yes, the book says he had black mane and green eyes, but what if they just colored him incorrectly?

True. At the same time what if the writers made a mistake? I prefer to think of him as having Scar's eyes and mane but Muffy's colour. But until Disney releases a family tree or something I guess it's up for debate.
