Description Done by PhotoshopCS3 and intuos3. It took me just one day.
I am trying to practicing my speed of painting...and the result is... can be better...
I also play around the composition and intend to make it complicated on this one, so I can practice the arrangement of the image.

This is definitely a favorite concept now. Seems to me like all who want a chance for peace have decided to flee and leave the fools of war to parish below in their own flames. And yet they're being attacked for their attempts to escape the mayhem, seems like a sign of Humanity's craving to control things.

Either that, or I'm thinking far too deep.

But I can't~ no one can't. So the background is black.

I really like the idea behind it, very interesting concept. I don't think it came out too bad really. The houses need a little work, but the cannons and the explosions have pretty decent believability. I think the houses just need a little more rigid shading to bring out the perspective, right now they look very soft and painterly. Maybe even just a drain pipe along the corner could give the idea of perspective.
