Inspiration:
Harvest Moon article I read some time ago here:science.nasa.gov/science-news/… , it really stuck with me as I witnessed couple of times the harvest moon and super moon : Moonlight steals color from whatever it touches. Regard a rose. In full moonlight, the flower is brightly lit and even casts a shadow, but the red is gone, replaced by shades of gray. In fact, the whole landscape is that way. It's a bit like seeing the world through an old black and white TV set.
I wanted to grasp this experience.

Long time no see with a full drawing. Is there anybody out there??? *shouts into the void*
This was a random idea/concept form long-long-long time ago, and now I try to make every year at least one drawing with this concept.Well.....yeah.... I still have some strange obsession with gray paper and still can't let go of the idea of white lineart as you can see
Honestly speaking, this took a small enternity to draw as I am extremely rusty these days. (I was mostly concept sketching/doodling in the last year, apart from 1-1 drawing.) The toughest part was to get an even lineart, as my hand is shaky and white ink doesn't quite flow like normal ink. The fun part was her hair, it is physically impossible, but I like the look of it and that is what counts

I've always loved the concept of moonlight and the way it steals away the color from the landscape, even when it's bright enough to cast sharp shadows, and of course, you have delightfully captured that magic here. I seem to remember talking with you about this effect before, since I've seen some of your other drawings in this same theme.
Beautifully done, Namtia -- as delicate as the shadow of a blossom in the light of the moon. I always love the effect you get when you draw in whites on dark paper, creating a kind of ethereal effect which floats off the darker background. Her hair is beautiful in the way it flows around her face, and her shoulders are... well... taking my breath away.

They are beautiful! I've done some drawing on toned paper, though I just used highlights of white, not entire line work. Even with that, I love how the white makes the image pop.
yes, I can see how you would personally feel close to its magic. It does somehow remind me of your personality -- delicate and elegant, like a blossom in the moonlight.
