I notice you've taken a liking to drawing animals.
Pretty cool, it's something I myself haven't really thoroughly experimented with.
Well, interesting worksheet you have here.
The topmost one and the ones on the right seem to radiate character, while the others (including the topmost one) show the animals in a dynamic situation.
This combination makes for a very interesting set of sketches.
I noticed you seem to like using crosshatch patterns as a means to accomplish shading.
Though I myself prefer using what I call "wavelines" following the shape of the object for this, your method works pretty well too.
Only, you could accomplish even better effects by varying the density of your crosshatches.
I know nothing at all about penguin anatomy, but as far as I can see, there are no noticeable flaws on that subject.

I continued sketching after the penguin already took another pose (or the camera turned away). It comes down to memory and you can still see how a penguin looks like, just in another pose, but it's still usefull.

some very pretty sketches you've got here. I've seen that movie, too, and it's astonishing what those small creatures go through in their lives. I really whish I could be of some help with your plan, but these are so nice, you got the markings right and everything, I really don't think I can do anything but wish you good luck
