I'm superpleased with Kanaya here, but not so much with Rose because I think she looks too young? *shrug* I polished up three different fanmixes today, my eyes are all squinky and twitchy from staring at my music library for so long1 XD

Well, I can say I've listened to your FST for Disciple/Signless and you did a fine job. I've never heard of this Ellie Goulding before but I rather enjoyed her voice, and I do like Florence + The Machine plenty. I usually don't get excited about Maroon 5, but this was just perfect. The one I keep coming back to is The Weepies - "Little Bird"; what a pretty tune. The last song (Christina Perri - "A Thousand Years")felt like perfect "end credits" music for a movie about them. Well thought out and the songs were very good choices (always happy to see Stevie Nicks.
As for the drawing, Kanaya's body position is done wonderfully. That's got to be a tricky pose...

Ellie Goulding has this great, sweet tone to her voice I've started appreciating more and more now that I don't hear her same two songs over and over on the radio as often. I love "Guns and Horses" and "The Writer" more that either of her other hits, but that might be because the first time I heard them I got MASSIVE First Ship feels. And the Christina Perri tune became a little bit of a guilty pleasure song once I found out they used it in the last Twilight movie XC IT'S SO PRETTY, THOUGH, WHY WOULD SHE LET THAT TERRIBLE FILM PUT A NEGATIVE CONNOTATION ON IT? ;A; "A Thousand Years" and "You Won't Feel a Thing", the one by the Script, are my ultimate First Ship songs. :3
You have no idea how long it took to shoehorn Kanaya into a reasonable body position, sheesh... XP That girl is the least cooperative whenever I try to draw her. Confound it all, I love her so <3

Some "people" just like to make things challenging, eh? But more often than not, the end result is worth it, like in Kan's case here! dA, however, being challenging, sucks big time. *whaps it with a rolled up newspaper* (which seeing Jade do the same to Bec Noir never ceases to make me laugh... why do I have a feeling that may be the key to defeating him? "LV.100 'Bad Dog' Newspaper to Nose Combo"). I plan on checking out more of this Ellie Goulding. Honestly, that's the first I've heard of her (shows you how often I listen to the radio these days, but they only play both kinds of music on it around here: Country AND Western! *shudder*).
