According to her publisher 4DE, Tessa is fine. They don't know anything else. She's actually not in a lawsuit--this is just an unfounded rumor that 4DE dispelled recently.

Well, the company that prints her comic, 4DE or something like that, said that she's okay. They didn't say anything beyond that, since they considered it not their right to talk about anything personal.
But yes, she's okay. My guess is that life's just gotten in the way big time, and she doesn't have the time to come on the internet...

Yea, I've heard that she's done this before. Doing a free webcomic can be taxing and time-consuming, I'm sure, and sometimes comic artists just don't have the time to keep up with regular updates.
Can't really say I blame her. If I ever had the skills to do a webcomic, I would probably hardly ever update. o-o
