Zuko turned his face from her searching eyes, suddenly ashamed of the brand of dishonour that marked it. He felt her warm fingers against the hardened skin and for once found he couldn't flinch away from that touch. She turned his head back so see could search his eyes. He didn't know what she found there, but he saw the tears well up and spill down her cheeks.
