Description Hello All,
I am back again with another piece Star Wars fan art. This time it's a look at the Trade Federation preparing thier assualt on Naboo. The original render was again 6400x3400.... thats a pretty pig piece of art. Again there was a lot of detail in the large render that did not carry over to the reduced image you see here.

I would like to thank many of the modelers at The Force for the original concept models. I tweaked, rebuilt, and also created my own models to make this image. If it were not for these artists weeks of effort it would have taken me months and not weeks to bring you this work of art.

The image was rendered in 3D studio max. The models originated in Lightwave, Maya, and 3D studio max, and were converted to a pliable 3ds objects using Carrara 5, and then re-imported back into 3d studio max. The star field was created in Photo Impact 6, as was all post work and partial layering. All together this image took over 100 object renders, 30 sceen renders, and over 8 layers to create. The final render took 7 minutes.

I hope that you enjoy this as much as I did creating it

Pretty awesome, I think that I liked the first piece more, but this is still very cool. I would love to see like the millenium falcon, if you could do it, lol.

I have a couple that I was fooling around with a few years back. I figure that I would eventually put one together and render it.

And I <3 your star maps.

Thanks

Well, not counting the over 100 test renders for objects, and sceens. The final render took 7 minutes, and I think it only took that long because I had so much still running on my desktop. I estimate that I could have got the render down to 5 minutes.
