It could mean any fandom, but in reality it was a reference to the Star Wars original trilogy versus the prequels arguments but with a MAJOR hint at MLP S1-S2 versus the S3-present arguments, a.k.a, before and after "Twicorn".
The writing in this episode was very clever.

I've never watched Ratatouille before, I didn't even know who the voice actor was, I had to investigate. But his voice acting was very good. It turns out I actually knew him from before from the sitcom "King of Queens" but had never got his name .
He's great as a voice actor! I'm surprised he joined MLP.

Don't feel bad about that. When I was young I was watching cartoons in french, so I only discovered Tara Strong when I began to watch the show.
Well, there are several well known actors or comedians who make voice acting. Not only in movies. But since it was only for a gig, he probably said why not. Well, maybe we'll see him again. I kinda hope, though.
I'm sure fans still hope that David Tennant makes the Doctor's voice. Fat chance.

I agree! Almost everyone says he's annoying. But I think he's funny and more.. well.. interesting than most characters. He even voiced Remy from ratatouille! I mean. Who wouldn't like a voice actor who played in one of your favorite childhood movies on a Cartoon T.V show!

Yep! I figured it out after looking up Patton in a site called Behind the Voice Actors. 
Plus like Party Favor's meme is the wall-eyed "I didn't listen" and Diamond Tiara's double-chinned "That's a weird question, I think Quibble's personal meme should be "That's a compelling argument, wanna say more?" in response to fans giving poor or childish arguments on what they hate or are butt hurt about

Probably why I can't get the mindset. There are many things I love, but I have no "passion" per se towards them (or at least as some define it. My attitude towards "Meh" installments is "Oh well, better luck next week I suppose", with "Meh" week after week being "Guess I'll find something else" and being done with it).
