here in Brazil, I think it is XD~
but there're some months that the lake the one in the picture) becomes filled with lotus (and there're 3 different types)
it's really pretty :3

i've never seen one ,
we have a temple in Kyoto for the Lotus but,
i wasn't there in the Lotus season sadly .
