Her foes loved calling her that, but although she indeed lost control during the Dance and became a ruthless paranoid, at least she wouldn't murder at the slightest whim (e.g. she spared Alicent, Helaena and Corlys) and was far less sadistic than Visenya's son; Comparing her to Maegor is unfair.

I can't get enough of your GOT fanart, the costumes and hair are some of the best features of the show (and the illustrations for The World of Ice and Fire) and you capture them so perfectly! I love how she has a little bit of a Dany look in the face, but is very clearly her own person, looks like a close relative.

I think that Dany and Rhaenyra were probably very similar in some ways, but Dany wasn't raised like a sheltered Royal Princess, and she's had a harder life. I'd like to think of Dany as Rhaenyra with a better personality. hahaha

I would imagine so, the targaryen family were notorious for inbreeding. I wasn't really into Dany for the first few seasons, but she really grew as a character and is one of the more interesting characters by far.
