Alternative Title: The Silent Princess
So, this my entry for 's Next Generation Senshi contest. We're supposed to create children for the Senshis, so I decided to try a possible daughter for Usagi and Demando (big surprise), so here is Princess Opala ("Opal").
Instead of drawing her in a sailor fuku (what would her senshi name be? I don't think it would be Sailor Black Moon, since she is not just of the black moon clan), I chose to draw her in princess dress. Due to her heritage, I wanted to add golden and black moons, symbolizing the union of the kingdoms and the equilibrium between light and dark. At first I thought in making the moon on her forehead silver/gray, but after some thought, I decided I would rather have it black like her father's, but turned up, like her mother's. Gave her bicolor eyes because I love them.
I thought of the title "Silent Princess" because, as I see, she would usually be very quiet and people would have a hard time in guess what she is truly thinking/feeling.
Trivia No One Cares About: I had thought about naming her Nozomi ("hope") or Raja, but in the end, I went with the tradition of the Black Moon being named after stones.
Material: Faber pencil.

And after this, I suddenly realized I kinda liked this character. A lot.

Amei o vestido de princesa dela sis *o* não é gay a lá Disney hahahahahahah e combinou bastante com ela. Com o cabelo, com tudo! Adorei a combinação de cores, o sapato *o* o lugar! O brilho do céu ficou tão bem colorido e eu amei *o* sem contar a fonte né! Adorei!

Uhuuu!!! Ainda bem, porque esse maldito vestido foi um diabo pra criar e definir! E ainda bem que combinou, eu quis usar cores bem leves para dar um ar de "luar" pra ela. O céu eu usei tinta na verdade.
Legal que ela agradou! Acho que vou desenhá-la mais vezes, eu acabei gostando da menina!

I think Demando would be kinda of a "protective" father XD While I think Opala would be very calm, I think she would be that sort of person you don't want to anger (I wonder what traces she would probably inherit from her daddy) XD

Not at all! I'm a huge fan of alternative timelines and what not. I also like it when people put *thought* into their characters. Look at any one of my drawings and you'll see I try to explain the character as best I can too - so I always appreciate a good drawing that has some artist's notes explaining their OC character. It enriches things so much more.
(I also like the name you chose, Opala. It genuinely feels like something Demando would choose for his daughter and the colourfulness of the stone itself feels in tune with Neo Queen Serenity.)

I love to make OCs! I just can't help it! I also love to see other's (when they are well made, of course)! It's just so much fun! So, even if I created her just for this contest, I found myself enjoying creating her story, imagining her personality and all that
(I'm so going to check your gallery!!!).
As I mentioned, at first I had no idea of what to name her. Nozomi and Raja mean hope and I thought the meaning was fit for a daughter of Neo Queen Serenity (especially considering that her father would be an ex-enemy, and all that), but it didn't fit the character, so in the end I went with Opala (and I'm so glad I did!)
