Description "The storeroom was at the far end, near the bottom of the cleft. Traversing the final stretch of rope bridge, Atrus slowed. Here, water bubbled up from an underground spring, seeping through a tilted layer of porous rock, making the ancient steps wet and slippery. [...] Here, too, was the place where his mother was buried. At one end of it lay a small patch of delicate blue flowers, their petals like tiny stars, their stamen velvet dark."

This scene made such a beautiful image in my mind, though I'm afraid my drawing skills don't do it justice. :\ Especially since I fail at watercolours. The version you see is majorly corrected and tweaked in Photoshop just to get the colours right.

Please to be excusing the amount of artistic liberties especially in the regards to the "rope bridge". :'D Yes, I thought a bit too much about Tomahna when sketching that, how did you guess?

I'm not sure, but I think it was meant to be one of the knapsacks Anna got from the traders.

Thank you. : ) I had to fix a lot of it in Photoshop, though, since I accidentally painted it a bit too dark... Glad you like it still.

Pffft did you just say you fail at watercolours? I thought I was able to handle them pretty well, but not this well though, and then you go and say you fail. I feel like crap now. :''''D

Ahem, a fine picture anyway. I especially like those blue lines on white wall.

:'D Well don't! Like said, this one has majorly corrected colours. I need to learn to keep my colour palettes straight when painting, I keep mixing the warm and cold shades and the end result is kinda... muddy.

... But thank you. XD ♥

Oh, so that's it. Hm, I'm not sure if I even can tell warm colours from the cold. :'''D That's why I probably wouldn't notice if the result looked, well, like you said, muddy. XD
