Aw Glare isn't a sparkledog D: He has minor natural colours, and not much hair, but you can do whatever you want, he's your fursona. (Besides, I can easily alter Glarey-bob because I haven't done anything more to him so if I had to redo him it wouldn't be a burden)
Jazz is somewhat of a sparkledog (wolves aren't orange lolwut) but the thing I want to change most with her is her species. Wolves are my favorite animals but they are pack animals - I'm more solitary, and wolves are too popular so I wanted a more 'original' fursona.
