Warm rays of light filtered through the bramble roofing of the nursery, dappling Lark-kit's tabby pelt as she shuffled to the edge of her nest. Her yellow gaze were fixed on the nursery queens as their soft mutters filled the dense air of the closed off nursery den. Today has been particularly peaceful. The queens seemed to be in a good mood and no kit has bothered her yet so far. She rolled unto her back, enjoying the textured, grassy touch of her nest while smiling softly to herself. Perhaps it's time to take a breath to go outside. The heavy air is getting quite irksome anyway. After all, what harm could it cause?
