mahh~ I wonder how many sphynx-esque fakemon there are out there.. probably TONS.Oh well.
It didn't fit electric, and if the Regis can be anti-traditional, then so can I. >3
Final of the "Elemental Legendaries" things.. there's still 3 other Legendary Fakes I believe for the Nenarca Region. Yeah.

That's a much better colour scheme. I really like all three of the legendaries. Maybe you should seek someone out that could do pixel drawings of them, yes?

I like this one the most out of all of them.
And the tail...XD I can just see a bunch of Arbok revering that thing as a god mistakenly, only to realize, there's a big cat at the other end. XD

hmm... maybe its my egyptile dysfunction, but i like the design a lot!
that and the shiney version looks great... only drawback is i'd LOVE to see these guys at an angle from the front to see how everything goes together
though... im not sure i like the phrase "basking in the sun" it makes it seem to... common, i mean... we got a regal beast here...

Wow, out of all the elemental legends, I think this one is my absolute fav! Actually I think this is the first egyptian-like fakemon I've seen. I had an idea of an anubis but the idea didn't come out too well. It looked so blah. Man, compared to my fakemons I like your so much better.

Do you think it's your ideas for fakes or your art that isn't working out for you? Usually concepts come from weird things you see or just regular every-day things.. like.. a beach ball, or an ant.. or something... and art just gets better with good ol' practice. XP

I think it was just one of thoes days where nothing was working for me. It happens sometimes. And I usually get idea for my fakes from animals, dinosaurs whatever pops in my head at the time. I try to think up animals that haven't been used yet^.^

actually if I had to vote which Sphynx esque Pokemon out of the many I've seen was the best, your's would win OVER THEM ALL. Well done, I really love the color scheme and overall design.

Hah! Go me, I had an Egyptian themed cat penned down as the last. Though to be fair is was a rather obvious follow on.
My comments on Pumagmi seem to fit very appropriately for this fella too, in that he resembles an ancient statue. I notice you even mention that briefly in the bio, I like how it can be passed of as such or a mirage. As is the skepticism of the human race.
Interesting set of colours, the dull yellow is appropriate for the sand theme but the purple gives it a certain flair. Coupled with that extravagent headpiece and the brilliant goatee (which resembles the one I used to have 
That snake is a curious addition, fitting to the theme but Girrafarig (I have no idea how it's spelt) springs to mind with it's tail that possesses it's own brain. Similar scenario or is the tail merely an extension, or further appendage?
Incidentally I like the 'shiny' re-colour, good mirror opposite with the silver but retaining a curious and mystical element to it through the colouring.
I think on first impression I would've said it'd be part Ground though. With the motif of the sand and the colouring. That said rock is fitting for an 'observer' in much the same way the Sphinx statue, that is of rock.

I thought of Giraffarig too when I drew the tail, but I said "Ah well, it's not as ugly.." Plenty of the original sphinxes had cobras stuck to their butts, so I sheepishly added that on there too.
I had trouble diciding whether it should be ground or rock type actually.. technically a sphinx is rock.. but rock made of sand.. sand is more like a ground-type, but sand isn't the same as dirt. :/ I got stuck and just went with my first thought of rock. Not all rocks have to be grey right? XD

Aye they do have those snakes as I recall, or so I'm told. Truth be told I've never been to Egpyt, always wanted to go, lots of places I want to go. Furthest I've been is Spain, they've got umm sun woop-de-doo.
Well I think either would've worked to be honest, but the fact it would be mistaken for a statue leads me to think rock is the better choice. I'm afraid all rock must be grey though, you're going to have to recolour it all XD
