Description
After seeing the new images of the set of the film I decided to draw this....Thorin Oakenshield captured by the Elves, is brought in the presence of King Thranduil (He's so majestic on his throne!!! XDXD)As you can see Thorin Oakenshield is inspired to Donald Duck and King Thranduil to his snobbish cousin Gladstone Gander!!!

I laughed so much when I saw this for the first time, it's wonderful! Thorin's expression and the King's arrogantly lounging pose are absolutely priceless.
The choice of Ducks is of course perfect -- I cannot imagine anyone else as a snobbish king than Gladstone. Well, John Rockerduck perhaps, but Gladstone fits much better here, as he and Donald are fighting the whole time and Donald is usually the unlucky one in the conflict, just as here. Hahahaha, a really delightful idea!! xDD
And I must mention their fantastic clothes... So much attention for detail and textures, especially with Thorin's outfit! The fur on his coat looks alomst real, woah, that's excellent colouring! And I love this pattern on that tunic he wears under his coat, and his shoes. *.*
Overall, it's really beautiful once again, adorable and hilarious!
