I found this amazing sandcastle (and the scultputer) in Mallorca on a beach. I thought it was worthy of a photo. I'm also slightly rather jealous because my sandcastles aren't even worthy of the name sandcastle, especially when compared with this one.Related content

Now, a geek like me would bring my little brother's medevial men and stuff and stick them on it if I made the castle...and make a siege, eventually destroying it.

That had to have taken that guy at least a month t build! Look at the textures! Even the trees and stairs are shaped! This guy deserves a medal.

i think it took him a week, there were sometimes two guys working on it. we went down to the beach early one morning and they were there, then they were still there at about 11ish at night. there were loads of people doing the same sort of thing all along the shore.

Goodness, I made a little sand donkey once and that took ages, I can't imagine how long that must have taken.
I'm jelious of you, just for seeing that. The closest thing I've seen there was a sand boat, and I think that was possibly just a boat that had been there for a very long time.
