Description

Here's a portrait of our already deceased, fondly remembered and greatly missed companion, Usko. He was put to sleep in 2012 and I posted a blurry photo of him on that sad day. I've thought about painting this picture for quite a few years already, but for a long time it felt too painful and sad. Today, finally, I was able to finish it. This was originally supposed to be a Christmas present for my mom, but time just went somewhere. This was also meant to be a pair with the previous portrait I made of our new doggie companion, Hulina, but the pictures ended up being pretty different. I didn't use any colored pencils this time, just watercolors. Aaand I think this one turned out a lot better!
