Beautiful. My favourite part is that area where the texture of the ceiling is uneven (black/white), the only chaotic thing in a very geometrical composition.

I enjoy looking through your gallery. Black and white certainly gives some extra elegance, but I often wish tjere was a colour version as well. You shoot such interesting places

it's not about elegance.
it's about the possibility to print them in my darkroom.

Stunning photo. Beautiful capture of a beautiful place.
It's so detailed without being unnaturally sharp.

thank you.

you can obtain very big jpegs from a 6x6 negative...

Wow 6X6? Thats wonderful. Is that called large format?

I miss film. I was never a skilled photographer and once I went digital I never looked back. But there's a quaility to a good film photo that you can't (yet) get with digitial.

6x6 centimeters is medium format.

it's not about quality it's about what you want to do with your photos.
for me the right place of a good photo is on paper.
if you like paper-photos the funniest choice has to be film.

forse avrei fatto meglio a fare uno schizzo a matita!

meno male.

Delightful picture. Delta 400 showing all it's potential too.

I have now 2 big questions...

How did you get it with the 80mm lens?
Wasn't dynamic range a problem?

Greetings!

nasht-01 In reply to knjaz [2008-09-14 06:49:17 +0000 UTC]

thanks!

reply #1: i dunno, i pointed and shot.
reply #2: It would have been with digital I guess, but film has enough tolerance (expecially in the high end) to solve the problem very well.
