Whoohoo, the series continues... I guess. Despite how much other stuff I have to do I decided to take a break and color something fun. Not that my commissions aren't fun, they just aren't mine, ya know. Anyway, I've had this idea in my head for a while, two Dahlz connected somewhere like two flowers on the same stem. Not sure if that can really happen but... well in FG's realm it can, so there. I found myself really afraid to use that red... But the picture wouldn't have worked without it, since I invisioned this really LOUD red as the flower parts of the Dahlz. Using the color red is seriously like spilling blood on white sheets or something. It stains and stands out and kills anything else close to it. So I was very careful about how I used it on other parts of the Dahlz skin and such. I'm very proud of the little branch and the bark as well as how I cropped this. It was much wider before but I like the closed atmosphere of this version better.

I know someone is going to point out that they don't have veins going down their bellies this time, I opted to leave them out because of the leaves connecting their heads. Something a bit more unique for them. What else.... these Dahlz aren't quite dancing, which isn't what they DO all the time so I deviated from that a bit too. And no, they won't stay connected forever. Eventually they'll fall from the tree and roam free. I imagine them looking kinda goofy with those big leaves stuck to their heads. I should draw that next ^_^. Anyway, another piece to add to the series. That makes what.... 5 now? 6 if you count the Sprout. Hmmm... expect more.
