this form was called Purple Moon Saiyan at first, but then i adopted the idea (originally by ) and changed it a here and there, and added more concept to fit in more with my TSSJ form.
basically, the saiyan's true form can be accessed in his primal mind, the saiyan doesn't need any tail to achieve the form, but the tail can make it easier.
this form is the uppermost power of what a true saiyan is (disregarding super saiyan) saiyans used to transform into this form instead of oohzaru, since their original planet's moon produced the necessary waves. the intensity of the Blutz waves produced by that moon (which was full once every 150 years) were intense enough so that the saiyans didn't even need their tails to transform into this form. and the higher the intensity, the stronger the form would be. the saiyan can simply control this form like the oohzaru form, but sometimes, great anger and rage might cause the saiyan to lose control. as you can see, the saiyan's hair is extremely more spikey than usual (semi-ssj2), and fur is found on the body (ssj4-esque). the oohzaru form is the same thing as this form, but the more intense the waves are, the more humanoid the saiyan will appear, thus, this form comes into action, it still retains some oohzaru features. the saiyan god that appears in the new movie Battle of Gods, is a form that requires 6 saiyans to channel their energy, this form is the saiyans' attempt to obtain this form, as they did not have a moon good enough to emit the required intensity of these waves, neither the enough power to produce a fake moon with such intensity as well. however, the saiyan god form is not completely as powerful as this form (the true saiyan form will give off a surprising 1000x base power multiplyer, compared to ssj3's 400x and the saiyan god's 800x). the saiyan's aura is completely golden and looks like flames the more angry they are, it is also not as opaque, and can blend in with the surrounding colors (as seen in the picture above, the aura is blending in with the sky color).
With now way for vegeta to surpass goku, now that they both have been able to master concentrating their powers into the maximum to achieve the saiyan god form, vegeta studies his body's properties with some help with bulma's DNA processing skills. bulma finds that a certain strain of DNA in vegeta's cells produces a special protein that causes a major body transformation, which causes the saiyan to become extremely more stronger (she also compares it with vegeta's super saiyan and Saiyan God DNA's) however, that process requires a type of radiation. vegeta says that this must be what causes them to transform into great apes, however, bulma tells him that this strain has been only partially activated, and when he used the saiyan god form, most of it was activated, however, the bit that wasn't activated yet, may provide him with power he has never dreamed of. vegeta is surprised, and bulma tells him that to try to activate his latent power, he should start with producing extreme amounts of the waves that turned him into a great ape. vegeta fires up into his saiyan god form, and creates a fake moon, surprisingly, the moon's color lights up purple like the galick gun. vegeta flies out into outer space to test out this new form, afraid that he might harm anyone. vegeta is able to transform and harness the power of the new form and control it. he spends a month creating a special technique that creates this fake moon inside his eyes, causing him to transform by himself, without helping any other saiyan to do such a thing. he finally goes back to earth, proud of his new powers, he teaches the technique to trunks, who in turn teaches it to goten and gohan, who in turn finally show it to goku. the saiyans harness the power of this form in case a new enemy arrives. however, vegeta and goku are the only 2 who completely understand that this form can be further powered up, since this form is not a super saiyan form, just like the saiyan god form. thus, goku trains to try and go super saiyan while in the true saiyan form. as his power is fluctuating and rising, vegeta detects it, however, unsure if it is actually goku (since goku is not able to control it completely) and once vegeta hears about it from bulma, he immediately thinks that the secret is not trying to "ascend" the form, but to actually transform once again. he goes to confront goku in a final battle, and, once he sees that goku has controlled his power and finally ascended, vegeta simply replicates his frustration, anger, pride, rage, and all his feelings that he found when he transformed into a super saiyan, and a ss2. immediately transforming without any struggle. vegeta dubs the new form as True Super Saiyan, and the predecessor as True Saiyan. vegeta ends up defeating goku, and goku admits that vegeta is the best. but will that cause our favorite fighters to stop training to surpass each other?
Gogeta is able to use the TSJ form immediately when the 2 saiyans fuse, as he activates the Eye-Ultra-Moon technique exactly the same second that he appears (i should note that the form does not have any effects on fusion time, since the form does not require energy to use, but rather provides energy)
