Question for Americans; Do you guys really still use chalkboards in your classes, or is that just something they do in movies/shows?

Depends on the school funding in particular areas, some schools use chalkboards, but it's rare, as stated, we have upgraded to dry erase boards, and now smart boards, at least here in California. :3

It's just something in movies, we use dry erase mostly. Chalkboards are only seen in really old schools.
