"A breeze came wandering from the sky,
Light as the whispers of a dream;
He put the o'erhanging grasses by,
And softly stooped to kiss the stream." ~William Cullen Bryant

A tranquil oasis! Superb.

Oil paintings, too...and with the same gorgeous light... I think some artists just SEE light better than others--they see all the subtleties and points of focus, and are able to capture it just so...you are one of these rare artists, my dear--and were, it seems, from the very beginning... **sigh** I love the little story here: someone opened the window, welcoming in the morning, and the early breeze found its way in, ruffling the sheer curtain...which is stunningly rendered, btw. I love the detailing you put into everything: the reflection of the shells in the dark vase; the lace doilie beneath them, the almost sensual way the light folds around the smooth curves of the glass. This is just...delicious! Thanks for sharing one of your early works with us here!

I better catch up on my painting, eh? I noticed your use of multiple colors in the light and shade, which I adore in paintings (I dislike how a lot of cel-shaded digital art fails to utilize atmospheric lighting, and certain styles of real media too). I wonder what a Jedi picture would look like with a nice beach background...

Отличная работа! Сперва подумала, что это акварель - настолько чистые и легкие цвета.

In a word: beautiful. I love the light in this, and the way you painted the little curtain... it's lovely. The composition really works, as well. Love it!

Wow, amazing job, this is a superb still life.
I like the contrast between the shells and the branches/wilting flowers in the vase, usually you expect shells and pretty flowers to go along with one another, I like the out of ordinary circumstance.
Also, nice contrats of texture on the vases, the smoothness/glassy look of the smaller one is made very apparent by the more metal looking large vase.
Obviously, I really like this painting
