You've done a wonderful job giving this one atmosphere. Is your process entirely digital? Do you start off with a sketch digital or otherwise?

Thanks! Yea I kinda had an idea in my head of what I wanted. The only thing I really drew by hand was the character, then scanned her in and drew over her digitally. After that I built the background piece by piece. Unfortunately I didn't think to do a step-by-step of this one :/ can't exactly remember how I did it, I just kept drawing until I was happy

I'll bet, so much detail, I can't even begin to imagine what it must take to make a whole comic!
Hell it takes me all day just to paint one layer and think on one image, let alone several frames at a time like this

It really helps if you practice speed painting, there's been times when I've actually managed to do about 3 pages in one day

I've dabbled in a semi-speed painting for BWI blog
this halloween, it's er, not great lol, but was fun to try
and work and speed/be 'loose' - though I suck at
that, because most of my work is quite tight and linear
if I am honest about it.

Awesome atmosphere! I love how the green fades to a creepy blue at the bottom of the stairs. It has a ghostly horror vibe. Now we're talking!
