Die Augen des Drachen
German for "The Dragon's Eyes"

The title is from a Stephen King novel I read my senior year of high school, as it was one of the few books my school had that was written in German. I decided on the title after adding the diamond into the peasant girls hand. It was originally going to be just a jewel that she had stolen but after remembering that title I decided to make it the dragon's green eye, and then added the Dragon in. If you look closely you will notice that the eye remaining in the dragon's body is green. The woman with the sword is obviously the draong's keeper. The rest of the story is pretty well left to the imagination of the viewer.

I had to prove my ability to create a montage in photoshop for my photography class. The requirement be that I have a least one of my own photos in the manipulation, my teacher was very lenient on my requirements since I am experienced in photoshop and my classmates are not so I did mine at home and spent 7-9 hours on it, which really isnt long considering all of my other ones.

Im very pleased with this one and I hope you enjoy it as well! This was my first time using a WACOM tablet and Ill never do another manipulation without it!

Haha, well German is your first language, yes?
German is my second. Its funny, I can hear and read it and understand it, but I have a lot of trouble translating it for people.
Does that really even make sense?

Yeah, that makes sense ...german is actually my second language, dutch is my first, but i speak both fluently though.

Its neat, because if I sound out the words, I can understand dutch, it sounds a lot like german, even though it is spelled differently, well, you know that. Its kind of neat though, even though I dont speak dutch. Was it fairly easy for you to learn German then?

Yeah, lots of people say that dutch is very much like german, but it wasn't all too easy to learn german for me, because german is much more difficult than dutch. In german lanuage there are so many rules you have to remember, it really is hard for me still, although i have lived here for 7 years now.

I always hear people complain that Japanese is hard. I tell them to try German and they wont think that anymore.
I am trying Russian and with like 24 conjugations to German's 16, my head is spinning!
