Lamias monsters from Greek mythology and been described as a monster with a top half of a woman but the bottom half of a snake. Each story of Lamia is different, but they all have to with a women named Lamia who’ve been blessed by Zeus by turning her into a monster to be feared do to the pain she suffered through. Over the years, the Lamia has gone from a Boogeyman-like monster, to a seductive enchantress who seduces men, to a type of mermaid.

In Rayman chronicles, the Lamias are a race magic using monsters who seduces men by the day and eat children by night. They attack you by doing a tail whip, a tail spin, biting, clawing, magic spells, etc. they are located in Lakes, Wooded Areas, Grassy Plains, Caves, and Mountains. When they die, they drop scales and magic potions.
