My second attempt at applying my "spectral time lapse" technique to a sunset. This is actually the same sunset as the last one (nathanielvirgo.deviantart.com/… ), taken slightly earlier with a narrower lens.

To make these images I take a series of pictures over time and convert them all to black and white. Then they are each tinted with a different hue and combined into a single image using a Python script that I wrote. Surfaces that receive constant light are coloured with every hue and appear grey, but where the light changes the colours are revealed.
