Awesome! I always loved the AT-AT's most of all Star Wars vehicles. I guess the legs are kinda thin, but its a damn good model!

lol, nice reply m8y, this one was made completely from box modelling, and as you say i get off on box modelling, heheheh, as for the legs, well, they are exactly the same dimensions as the blueprint, although strange you should say that, cos a m8y of mine said the same, but when shown blueprints he agreed they were spot on, thx again

hehe. I know...I am working on an airplane, and unwrapping the body is really tedious. Unfortunately, unless a planar UVW Modifer doesn't do it for you, you'll have to unwrap. I found this one on cgtalk - [link] - it's for an airplane, but the principles are the same. I hope it helps.
Keep Well!

Awesome, I used to be a star wars fanatic and still find it quite interesting. So, in my limited knowlege of this type of work, other than refernce of course.. is this done from scratch? One thing I would suggest is that the piece about the "foot" does move to keep the "foot" more parralell to the ground. The raised leg looks kinda awkward with in that repsect, but other wise fantastic job!

Thanx for the comment Poet, as for creating the model, it was done from scratch, a couple of reference piccies and a very sloppy blueprint, i understand where u are coming from with the feet, and i shall take it into account, i think you mean that the foot is always pointing down ready for floor contact yes????? just have to watch the battle scene again, lol
