My Skull cosplay (Arcobaleno) from Katekyo Hitman Reborn is ready!My first debut was at Roma Comics&Games 2012 on March, 3, but I'd like to cosplay him again in the future, with our Arcobaleno group! (We missed our Luce and Verde ;w; )

I commissioned it to two great sewer who worked near my homeplace, because it was difficult to find it online... maybe you'll be luckier than me, but if you know a cosplayer who does commissions you can ask him/her to make this cosplay!Β

Can I ask where you got your pacifier? I still need to get a green one for my Verde cosplay but so far everyone says to just buy one from a baby store and spray paint it green. xD

I've bought mine from an italian store that sells objects on Ebay! I don't know if they send items also in foreign countries, but if you try to search "pacifier - betagames - italy" on Ebay or "Beatagames.it" on Google I'm sure you can find them :3

Well actually, I went cheap. xD I just went ahead and bought two pacifiers at Safeway and spray painted one green for me, and used yellow Acrylic paint for the other one since my boyfriend is going to be my Reborn. <3 xD

Welllll, the spray paint was really easy although it wasn't as smooth as I hoped, but it still worked out nicely.
The Acrylic paint was a bitch (Pardon my language if your sensitive to cursing) to apply to the yellow pacifier. It kept peeling or not leaving smooth lines. Plus it took over 3 hours to dry, and when I tried to use a blow dryer, it made big bubbles and ruined the entire paint when I tried to pop it...So, I just said screw it and scraped off the top and decided to leave the bottom painted. xD
Well, his cosplay isn't done just yet (Still needs a black tie) but mine is done. I have it posted in my gallery if you'd like to take a look. ^_^
And trust me, it would have been probably WAY easier to buy one then make one. .__.

I remember when I painted for the first time a thing with acrylic paint: I touched it before was dried and almost all the color went away..
I agree! But I love to do things by myself.. Even if I make terrible messes, like the time I tried to sewed Marion Phauna's doll (from Shaman King, I cosplayed her last year)!

Lmao xD Actually, it wasn't even intentional either. I've always loved Crocodiles since I was young, and this summer I went on a trip to Newport Oregon with my friend Kayla to an aquiriam. I bought a stuffed Crocodile there because I have this fascination and soft spot for reptiles. xD So when I decided I could pull off Verde with my green Zetsu wig, I was like "Hey! I have a crocodile already I can use, sweet!" So it was very convenient!
Oh goodness, don't use Acrylic paint! xD Plus, I didn't have a brush to spread it, so I kind of just smeared it across the pacifier to try to get a smooth service. Yeah, it failed. Acrylic paint requires lots of patience apparently. Dx Takes forever to dry...
Really? Its always fun being creative and making things, even if there's a huge mess, but sometimes its worth it in the end.
I've never read Shaman King, but I've seen it, that sounds awesome! ^_^
What's cool is, I was debating making a box weapon for my boyfriend and I. I mean, TYL version of Katekyo Hitman Reborn, it was made clear that Verde was the one who invented the box weapons. So why not have let the Arcabaleno have one? ;D

I really recommend it, I love the manga series! *-* The anime is not as good as manga, but I like the OSTs.. I agree with you about creativity! Every time I decide to cosplay a character, I always think about the accessories I can make by myself, even it's a bit difficult XD I'd like to try with Chrome's weapon (the trident), but maybe I'll have to ask to my bestfriend, she's very skilled with works of this type ;_;

Manga is usually always better than the anime anyways so I'll take your word for it. ^^
True, its easier if you can make the accessories with cheap money instead of using a crap load of money and buying the outfit and other accessories when they may not even be good quality or even fit you the way you want.
The trident? That sounds like it'd be fun to make! Have you ever used amtguard weapons? If you know a person who makes them then it'll be super easy for them to make your trident. I have a few friends who can make amtguard weapons that are good at making cosplay props. ^_^ Lik my friend Mitch, he easily made Tonfa, if I ever wanted to cosplay Hibari I could just borrow them. xD

No, I've never used them! But I've to have a look on tutorials or ask my bestfriend about, she's very skilled and sometimes we enjoy ourselves with these projects. It can be a really good occasion to try something funny! *3*
