If you go to Layen, close to the beach there is a little cafe, Aki's cafe. Always a friendly face at Aki's ... apart from Aki... he's always grumpy.. or stoned... or drunk.

from right to left:
Aki, who's real name is Gaiaki, is the owner, he doesn't do anything apart from shout randomly and miserable's up the place. The former police officer has a dark past, punished for something he didn't do, lost his wife, his home and most of his fortune of millions. He is very bitter.
He is very protective of Avreielle and shows off his tender side when he's around her.

Avreielle, is Aki's adopted daughter. She is very sweet, happy and hyper. She is pretty clueless and takes everything said literally. It's very rare to see her upset. She see's Mr Kruby as a big brother and looks to him when she is confused about something.

Vicktor Kruby runs the cafe in Aki's absence... or more like all the time because Aki doesn't do anything! An artist who got into trouble as a teenager, Aki bailed him out and Kruby has stayed loyal to the man ever since. Kruby is very very good at his job, normally a shy, insecure man, the cafe seems to have done some good for his people skills. He's still very shy around females, especially Arelle.

Arelle, Hired by Algard to take out the villain group Re-Volt. She uses the cafe as an under cover job. It's her safe place and she loves working there.. even if Aki gives her a hard time. She is participially fond of Kruby and would sit and talk to him all day if Aki let her... which he doesn't because he's mean.

Temleo is the chef. He's usually stuck in the kitchen and is rarely seen unless it's quiet. He is a bit of a dark horse, behind that quiet exterior he can be wild and rebellious.
