The first two seasons of crystal were shit to me but the third season made up for it. I wanna get both on Blu-Ray though.Β

I still prefer the original anime, monster of the day, fillers (which I see most of as character focus episodes) and all. I really wasn't a fan of the first two seasons of Crystal, I felt they did a poor job adapting the first two manga arcs (I like the manga, but it's not the best version of Sailor Moon). Season III is good, but it doesn't hold a candle compared to S, not out of nostalgia, but the story was done better there.
Crystal unfortunately has some of the worst anime fans I've seen though (not pointing fingers at anyone), and I've had a really rough time with its fanbase, to the point where I felt like I was the only fan of the original Sailor Moon anime left, it was like people were just throwing shit at the 90's anime when it came out whilst ignoring flaws Crystal had, and if you see your favorite show getting hate in that way, you tend to get flustered and frustrated.

True, but some people in the Sailor Moon act like it's a bad thing to list the positives with Crystal and constantly call Crystal fans blind, stupid, or fake fans, yet the minute you criticize the 90s anime regardless of whether you like it or not, they start screeching and whining.

I prefer the original version, don't get me wrong here, the modern reboot is pretty good, but it's the original series that first got me into Anime, The original DBZ after they ended this show, then The original Pokemon series (back when there was just 150 Pokemon to remember, but the original SM is where my humble beginnings are at.

You gotta admit though, the original series is pretty funny. Btw, I saw a video clip on youtube that showed Usagi when she got drunk at some party, was that actually part of the series? So far, I've been able to watch up to season 1 episode 10, and the episode list only goes up to 40 for the English dub (50 For the original Japanese release), and, I can't publicially get the entire series on DVD without lying as to the reason I'm buying the collection or being judged by my family of judgemental assholes.

The Three Little Princesses is funny, but they can't beat Usagi when drunk, hers was accidential, from what I can tell, Peach and Daisy got both them, and Rosalina drunk on purpose, playing some goofy drinking game, I can see doing that with soda.

Hell, seeing her get pissed over another girl asking HER man to dance was funny, then when she got asked to dance by that one guy (or was that a girl? Some Anime characters, I just can't really tell, there's so many changes between the English and Japanese versions because of America's limp-dick censorship pussies, then there's 2 of the villains, whose names escape me, that were straight in one, and gay in the other, That's why I say censorship is for pussies, just translate shit into English and Leave it as is!

I like both and i respect your opinion.
I understand that some complain about the new character's design or the story or also the character's name. Sailor Moon Crystal is based on the manga's story. Then the 90's Sailor Moon version is more about action, monsters and all the stuff. It's like a free adaptation of Sailor Moon, but they at least respect some importants points in the story.Β
