Description
I made this as a birthday card for my friend Bing!
I used a comic of Calvin & his singing oatmeal as a reference,
and adapted it to birthday cake. My mom couldn't stop laughing. ^^
I dedicate this to ~CornholioTheGreat ...
He's a Calvin & Hobbes fan too. He will be the next Bill Watterson. ^^

whoa nice to see another fan of bill waterson's calvin and hobbes simply one of the notable of comic strips.i personally think that calvins snowmen were a riot even today it still inspired want make snowmen into art.

I have all the books too! I love how Bill Watterson draws expressions. You really know what the characters are feeling by their faces. He draws AWESOME landscapes too. The snowmen comics are PURE GENIUS! Calvin and Hobbes reminds my mom of my brother and me (I am Hobbes!)...especially the dancing one with the music playing at 78rpm..."tomorrow morning, I'm calling the orphanage", and the one where Calvin does something to the car..."If we imagined he could find the car, we could pretend it might be fixed..." The Sunday Comics Book is awesome because it has artist comments. Do you have that one?

No, it's not the BIG Book of everything (but I want that too!).
It's a book of all the Sunday Comic Strips from 1985-1995.
It shows them sketchy in black & white, and then in full color.
It includes artist comments from Bill Watterson too, and it's AWESOME.

Oh, man! I love Calvin and Hobbes! I used to bring in Bill Watterson's books to school and ~CornholioTheGreat and I use to read the whole thing in an hour.

I know I know!!! I love Calvin & Hobbes too! I have all the books. I had an audition for an art program last year, and my mom was reading Calvin & Hobbes while she waited for me.
She laughed SO HARD everyone had to see what she was reading.
