#inktober2015 day 5 !Today, I illustrate one of my favorite poem, from Maurice Carême. It's a poem about how the cat are glowing in the dark.
You have to read it from top to bottom, and the left (white) part of the drawing then the right(dark) one.
Sorry, it is a french poem ^^" But here, a rought translation of what it is written in the drawing :
The cat opens its eyes
The sun goes in it
The cat closes its eyes
The sun stays in it
That's why every night
When the cat is awake
I see in the dark
Two pieces of sun
Voilà !

This is such a nice drawing! More over, thos cats are adorable~ Love their fluffy furrr. The paper effect for poem words is a really great touch! It is clear that this drawing dedicated to a poem by seeing the way those words put in the drawing ^^
