What we have here are really two different and unrelated pictures. I will deal with the one on the left first. Ahem, reploid Natsuko again, this time I changed the design slightly and acutally gave her a buster. ^^ I like this better since she doesn't seem like near as much of a Cinny ripoff. So unless I go all undecisive like usual, this is pretty much her final design and the reference piccy for when I get around to making me some sprites... eventually.The second... uhm... it will take some explaining.
It can only be explained by posting a snippet of conversation with ~angelgirlmia here. Let it be known I had just seen a piccy of a cute little fox Axl and that is why I said the first comment...umitenshiko: Zero Usagi. X Neko. Axl Kitsune!

I also didn't notice that she said Sailor Sigma until just now... I won't be drawing him. o_o After she said he had teh hair to be Sailor Moon... it had to be drawn. I was going to leave his helmet and make the rest Usagi's sefuku, but he needed the odango... so I personalized it a lot. He even still has the sword. ^^ So uh... hope you enjoyed....

maybe it's just because I haven't been keeping up on your dA with all that studyin and such i've been doing, but your drawing has improved a TOOOOON! (thats a dragged out "ton" not a dragged out "toon")
I love how you have a cool helmet but it doesnt hide the facial features or the hair and ears which combined help frame the face very well. Also the skin tone and overall structure of the face looks very natural. Even the eggageratted size of the eyes fit in perfectly.
As far as the armor, it seems just chunky enough (not sure if thats the right word, but only one i could think of) to work as armor, without making Natsuko look unnatural or unarmed. Kind of a laid back, but definately not defenseless look.
I also noticed how incredibly well all the colors seem to fit together, the armor scheme seems to not only work well with it's own combination, but also with the pose, the background setting, the hair and skin color, and the noticible fact that Natsuko has cat ears and a tail.
The background works well because it is formed enough to establish the setting, but it is blurry enough that it subtly draws attention to Natsuko. (So subtly that I didn't even realize it until just now when I started analyzing it!)
When i looked really close, I did notice that the actual lines of Natsuko were just barely sketchy looking, but even when look back at it i haveta be looking for that kind of detail to even notice, because the whole rest of it is so incredibly outstanding!
I think this is my favorite drawing I've ever seen you do before! Good Job!

I don't think I'll seperate this since they were drawn in the same oekaki. But there is another one of Repli-Natsu i nthe previous Pchat. I don't like that version of the armor as well.
