Because NaruSaku is the most developed thing in the series.It is.
I hope Kishimoto-sensei knows what he has been building up.
Some people claim that narusaku is like brother-sister relationship but seriously guys - Naruto has the hots for Sakura. And she loves him, too.
She had shed gallons of tears because or for him, she had been by his side and helped him to stand with both feet on the ground when neccessary. She had truly done many things for him and is still claiming that all she can do are petty things for Naruto. I'm sure she'll put her life on the line once again for him. I hope it'll end all good! T___T;

I can still see this happening, I mean with everyone saying NaruSaku is dead, theres just too much lingering for them.
I mean yes as of 540 she still loves Sasuke but whats to say she cannot change? Is there anything saying Sakura cannot reafirm her feelings or have turned away from Sasuke? We know she is depressed at what he became but she could have done some thinking. Has there been anything showing Naruto was over Sakura? No there has not.
Even with 615, its too early to call anything, I mean there's a reason Sakura is not shown (Sai is not there either) but we also need to see what Sakura reacted too, I mean why would she be the only character with a panel during Hinata's speech?

I just love this piece. Im going to cry because, I don't know, I just feel like how they are feeling. It's very beautiful. The colors, expressions, and the emotion shown and put into this. Now a days, it's fine if people call it a 'brother and sister' relationship. They're only screwing themselves over.
For example, think about the Chikara fillers, that man and woman whose names I don't recall were 'brother and sister'. They were in no way related, just like Naruto and Sakura. Obviously Japan does not have a problem with 'brother and sisters' getting together (if they aren't related)
Brother and sister relationships are one of the tightest out there. I have an actual brother and although sometimes I think he's just plain stupid/ignorant, he's still someone I'd consider to be my closest friend. I can tell him anything if I needed to.
Having that kind of relationship with someone you aren't related to is generally considered a partnership/marriage.

Its kinda strange not seeing Sakura having got any of the enhanced nine-tails chakra like the rest of the ninja allaince but there are a few valid reasons:
1. She was never shown with it yet, last we saw Sakura was in 615 reacting to something (most likely Hinata's speech)
2. She could have gotten it offscreen.
3. Sai is not anywhere with the enhanced chakra or seen fighting and he just dropped bee on top of the ten tails
4. If Sakura has not gotten the chakra, there could be a good reason for that now can't there?
Sakura is the heroine and will get her moment in this coming climax we just need to wait and see.

Kishi is such a dirty troll. I wouldn't be surprised if he just left the pairings alone when the manga comes to an end. Of course, I still want the series to end with NxS, but with kishi we can't really be sure.

not to mention that twice now with no pressure or coercsion she has hugged him in public in front of peers and colleagues and people she knows. Also she has offered to feed him.
both are considered very intimate and direct signs of affection in japanese culture upon which the story has been based.

awesome drawing but im beg to differ we all still know that sakura wants sasuke , even though he did try to kill her and so , but in bot anime and manga she still thinks of sasuke during the war when the zetsu started infiltrating the camps at night and thats a fact , i feel that in both the war and invasion of pain hinata was one big help to naruto in both manga and anime showing how much she loves him , sorry for dragging my comment for so long , and again i like this and adding to FAV's !

It annoys me when people call NaruSaku "brother sister" relationship wise because I bet if you said that to Naruto, he wouldn't agree. He's asked her on dates, practically confessed to Sai he loves her and on top of that tried to see her naked. I am sure he views Sakura as more than a sister. As far as Sakura, I don't think she views him as a brother because if you read Sakuras actions and not read her words, her actions place Naruto on the same field as Sasuke and possibly higher. She was willing to give up case on Sasuke for Narutos health. Even Yamato and Sai noted she cares more for Naruto than she leads on. (And going to mention the data book when Kishimoto stated that Sakura is confused on who she loves: Naruto or Sasuke. If it was just meant to be brotherly-sisterly, I doubt Kishimoto would have published that.)
But that is the thing I love about NaruSaku. Things aren't overly concentrated on (romantic) love between them. Their characters are more than just each other and have more value around themselves. It's realistic but sadly realistic.

With the way things are going. I expect Naruto to die and Sakura to (unfortunately) sacrifice herself to revive him. I don't want it to be true, but I can see that happening. But besides all that. I love this piece! The colors are great and Sakura's smile is so cute.

I don't know what made you think this way...because everyone's powered up now. Sakura's healing powers mixed with Naruto's kyuubi chakra must be on par with Tsunade - there's no way Naruto would die there. Neither Sakura

Lol sure you could like any Naruhinafans who completely miss the point of the story, if Naruto can't get over Sasuke when he is trying to kill him and everything he stands for how could he get over Sakura when all she was trying to do is protect him it's completely illogical. Naruto is a static character he's not the one meant to change he's the one that changes people around him and the 2 last people he will change will be his 2 teamates Sasuke and Sakura. Jiraya and Obito loved 2 girls and troughout their life they couln't over their respectful love interest so again why would Naruto who is far worse than both in that aspect move on ? The answer is simple he won't. Naruto may never get Sakura but one thing is sure he won't get over her especially when his feelings have been depicted as selfless and not detrimental to his character there would be no point from a literary standpoint for him to get over Sakura.
Now just wait and see how Naruto's feelings will be confirmed again (even tough it doesn't need to be in the first place).

I can only agree with that standpoint - I also see Naruto as rather static - in certain things, that is. He has changed, too - from a silly kid into a respectful warrior. I think naruhina fans are viewing it all mosre from Hinata's side - wishing that she'll be happy because she deserves it and all... and anyone could fall in love with such a kind girl after some time. But since it's honen manga, I really doubt this kind of developement. I think Naruto's in love with Sakura from the start just as is Hinata enfatuated with him. If we would see it all from Naruto's POV - after everything he has been through, he deserves to receive love from the person he likes the most of all.
But even if naruhina were wishful thinking, there's nothing wrong with people shipping it, right? Let's just leave it be....

Nothing wrong about people shipping it, what is wrong is people forcing down our throats in a ns deviation there's more than enough space in the internet so why the need to come to ns deviations it's really annoying.
I think that's my main beef against nh it's all about hinata while at the same time ignoring completely naruto's feelings, some people try to downplay naruto and his feelings just so hinata can get her sex toy. Sorry i don't care about hinata, the thing that interests me is naruto and his dreams not a side character overrated to no end and completely irrevelant to the plot.
And yes i agree with you at this point there's no legitimate reasons for naruto to chqnge his feelings even if they will never be returned.

Hinata is a beautiful character and like all the other side charactes, she had contributed something important to the plot/main cast. It's a pity that these types of agressive nh fans make other people hate her by saying reckless things about other pairings, or ignoring Naruto's feelings... Hinata is quite idolized, though, making her a little bit one-dimensional and flawless in the sense of not making any moral mistakes and turns. Sakura is much more realistic and close to being like a regular real-life girl with her flaws, wants and needs... and her battles. She's trying so hard to atone for her past and only a blind man wouldn't recognize her qualities as the main heroine. Naruto always loved her, while seeing past those flaws... and that won't change.
The colored cover of the newest chapters shows that it's Sakura's time to shine. I will silently wait for that to happen and after this horribly long period of the narusaku-suffering Kishimoto surely has something prepared.

I wouldn't consider it dead. There are just too many things the author has to deal with, so he can't mix Sakura's feelings into all of this now, when he wanted Hinata to have her screentime, which she deserved. She wished to hold NAruto's hand, so it's obvious (since she's so popular among male readers), that she'd get that. But I think that's the limit.
Sakura isn't sure about her feelings and it had been openly stated in the manga that she feels inferior to everyone who ever did something for NAruto, feeling she never does enough for him.
And about her confession to NAruto - it is yet to be revealed how much fake it actually was or not. I think she partially meant what she said. But after mixing Sasuke into it, it had become clear that there's no way she would just "forget" about him. NAruto felt that she'd lying to her self, which she was. She still considers him dear but I don't think she knows what true love is. Sasuke was a crush, the thing she always wanted out of childish reasons and which was being pulled out of her hands into a dangerous zone. That intensive pain is all that is connecting her to Sasuke. I don't think it's love and I don't think that SasuSaku has a chane by now.
NaruSaku is in progress. It's a beautiful part of the story, just as Hinata's sincere feelings are toward NAruto. I wouldn't consider NaruSaku dead.
Hinata hasn't been of much "use" in the series until her confession,Kishimoto knows it and he's using every opportunity to make her useful now. (sorry if that sounded mean, wasn't meant like that.). Kishimto doesn't prefer the naruhina - he just fulfilled Hinata a wish she had. What comes out of it is yet to be seen.

Naruto still has to confess his feelings for Sakura. You are forgetting he hasn't done that nor does Sakura know it was Naruto, not Sasuke, who complimented his forehead.
If I were you, I would wait to say a pairing is dead and last I knew, you weren't Kishimoto so saying he prefers it is just your bias opinion.

Firstly Sakura knows about Naruto's feelings, Sai told her and she lied to Naruto that she loves him too so she could manipulate him.
Secondly if she know that it was Naruto not Sasuke complimenting her forehead that wouldn't change anything. She would probably beet the crap out of him.
PS. By saying "who complimented his forehead" you said that Sakura is a man XD.
